About Pastor Jim McIver
For Pastor Jim McIver, real life began on December 12, 1970 in
Miami, Florida as the Holy Spirit dealt with him about his sinful lifestyle and
revealed Jesus Christ to him. In a moment’s time, Jim surrendered his life to
Jesus Christ. In an instant, a past life of gang warfare, nightclubs, gambling
and drinking was erased as he was transformed into a new creature in Christ
Jesus. Within a year of being born again, he was filled with the Holy Spirit and
received his calling into ministry.
Since Jim was called to the ministry, God has used him mightily to win thousands
of souls to Christ, get countless people filled with the Holy Ghost, and
manifest many miracles of healing and deliverance. Throughout the years, a main
focus of ministry for Pastor McIver has been establishing churches, overseeing
Churches, as well as bringing revival and order to Churches that have sought his
counsel and leadership.
In 1996, Jim and his wife Mary founded Revival Fires Fellowship in Allentown,
Pennsylvania. Revival Fires Fellowship is a strong and vibrant church that
believes in the uncompromised Word of God, Miracles, Healing and the power of
the Holy Spirit. Over the years, ministries such as: a Christian Publishing
Company, a Bible School, a Daycare Center and annual Church Conferences were
pioneered to meet the needs of a growing congregation. As RFF began to flourish,
Pastor McIver realized that he was raising a model Church that God was going to
use to literally impact the world.
While shepherding Revival Fires Fellowship, Pastor McIver continued to travel
and preach revivals, seminars and conferences to strengthen other Churches. In
his travels, he found that there were scores of pastors needing help, and there
were too many Churches without any real connection to other parts of the Body of
Christ. Over the past few years, the Holy Spirit began to deal with him
regarding a return to his true call in the Church as an Apostle and spiritual
father to other Churches and ministries.
To answer this call of God, Pastor McIver established Revival Fires Fellowship
International, a Ministry that offers Apostolic Oversight/Covering to Local,
National and International Churches and Ministries. RFFI is a fellowship of
churches that offers the opportunity of belonging to a family of peers who are
like-minded in beliefs, faith and purpose. RFFI’s spiritual flavor is:
Pentecostal/Full Gospel/Word of Faith. RFFI is a Fellowship of Churches
dedicated to being “21st Century” relevant in order to meet the needs of people
around the world.
Pastor McIver is the author of 13 books, 40 teaching videos, numerous
Audiocassette series and two CDs. In honor of his 34 plus years of ministry,
experience and dedication, he was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Theology
degree from the North Carolina College of Theology. Jim and his wife Mary have 5
children that are saved and serving in the ministry and 6 grandchildren, all of
whom love Jesus.
